PMOS (previously called PCOS)
Many women live with symptoms of polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), previously called polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
PMOS is a hormonal imbalance in which the body produces male sex hormones (androgens) and ovulation is often irregular or absent. This affects periods, fertility, skin (acne), excess hair growth, weight and metabolism.
At GYNSTUDIO we start by listening. We then take a whole-person approach, focusing on hormone balance, a regular cycle, weight management, medical treatment for excess hair growth and acne, and your overall wellbeing.

How we can help
Here you’ll meet a multidisciplinary team of gynaecologists, a midwife, physiotherapists, psychosexual therapists, dietitians and trainers. We work together to support you with exactly what you need.
Care at GYNSTUDIO is usually self-funded (paid privately), and you don’t need a referral.
Do you have health insurance?
Policies with Danica and Nordea Pension include free choice of provider, so you can choose GYNSTUDIO and have your treatment reimbursed or paid directly. Always check with your insurer whether your policy covers the care you need.
Most health insurance policies partly cover physiotherapy, acupuncture and similar treatments.
All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK).
